After months of sitting in a box in our apartment, I was finally able to bring this artwork out to the house last week. This empty wall space had been driving me a little crazy, and now a little piece of Paris is up on our wall! That’s where I studied abroad so this is quite meaningful to me. So in love with how it turned out!

This ottoman coffee table thing was the first item we purchased for our new home back in 2014. I saw it at HomeGoods, and I had to have it. It gave me all the coastal vibes I was hoping to bring out in the house. When the original house was knocked down, we moved it into the pool house to live until we were back in the house, and now here we are! This ottoman table anchored my entire design for the living room, and gave me the push to go light with our sofa color choice (I was originally leaning towards a dark grey!). I wish it was available online for you all, but I linked some similar options below.

Speaking of sofas, our Gather sectional is AMAZING. We are so in love! It’s the most comfortable chair for us. It’s deep and firm enough that you don’t totally sink in, but it instead gives you great support. And the fabric is insanely durable. Check out my Instagram highlight to see how easily I get stains out! All stains come off with baby wipes - even chocolate milk stains and mystery stains. Liquids form into little bubbles that you just wipe off! I didn’t even have to get it extra treated or anything additional for it to do that. I basically dislike sitting in all other couches now, including the others I own!

A couple pieces in the room (the throw blanket and candle) come from my Causebox subscription which I love so much. These boxes introduce me to new brands of responsibly sourced beauty products, accessories, and home decor. Click here for my Causebox referral link if you are interested in learning more!

Another special touch in this room is the book on the side table, Out East. This book was a gift from our architect, and he gifts us a new coffee table book each Christmas. I love that he continues to fill our home with his touch long after his initial design.

And if you are in the market for a bronze knot, hurry now and grab it because McGee and Co. just got it back in stock! It’s all linked below.
